My name is Aisha Koleen Anasco Lopez.
I was born in the Philippines and moved to New Jersey, USA when I was three years old. As an only child, I’ve always had to find ways to entertain myself. I experimented with all forms of the arts – everything from playing instruments to acting to dancing, singing, and acting. Yet there had always been one constant – that is, drawing. To be honest I’d never even considered being involved in fashion until I was a sophomore in high school, when I first began taking pre-college courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY. By senior year of high school I had been accepted as a future student of FIT.

I am only 20 years old, yet I have to say that I’ve been lucky enough to have dipped my feet into the industry quite a bit. Through experience and personal preference, I’ve been able to hone in on the aspect of fashion that I truly love: illustration. While I am currently working on a degree to become an all-around fashion student, I am looking forward to a career in fashion illustration.

In the summer of 2010-2011, I interned, worked, and illustrated for designer Jac Langheim, who predominantly works with rubber. Her aesthetic attracted clients such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and the like. By working for her, I was able to gain much experience in illustration and garment construction. I have illustrated for the Haus of Gaga through Jac Langheim, the menswear line Rochambeau, local New York-based streetwear brand MuffinMilk, and other miscellaneous clients.

My work has been featured on GagafashionlandMTV.com, StyleNoir ,  and other blogs.

This particular site features sketchbook work, personal work, as well as some work for clients.
I am currently not looking for work, although I would be more than happy to collaborate on specific projects, given that I have the time. I am currently attending the Academy of Art University.
